That’s Nothing…Use It!

Description

COURSE OUTLINE

One of the most underutilized umpire mechanics and verbalizations in amateur baseball is “THAT’S NOTHING!“. This is something that needs to be utilized far more often at all levels of amateur baseball umpiring.

It is the same as the SAFE sign, which is also used for NO CATCH.  On any infield ground ball that is close to an advancing runner, THAT’S NOTHING should be used to signify that you saw the play and the ball did not hit the runner.

Watch the video lesson to take the course and learn more about this key umpire mechanic.
